I have still 7 months left over on my 6 year term and they have asked for 3 year extension based on the approved I-140.I'm talking to my company right now and will talk to the lawyer once they receive the denial reason which they should get in 2 -3 days.But my company is ready to appeal.Keeping all this in view if they file for an appeal for what ever reason and based on my visa expirt date which is on 31'Mar 2009 how long will I get to stay and work legally to hear the answer for the appeal??

I have two labor certificate one is EB3 with priority date April 04 and other is EB2 with priority date April 06.My employer has already filed my I140 using eb3 labor, and since my EB2 labor got approved after 9 months my employer is asking me to make a choice .Either EB2 or EB3 . They are saying they can not file two I140 . In order to file new I140 with EB2 labor they need to revoke the EB3 140 . I don't know what choice to make and seek your valuable advice. Please help me as i have only 10 days to make a decision.

If the doctor's office can give you claim codes, fine. Otherwise, you gotta do it yourself. Just submit the invoice copies with a good cover letter (explaining what it is). I did it with my insurance company and it went through smoothly. They treated our immigration medical exams as usual annual physical exams which are fully covered. Immunizations (i.e., vaccinations) are fully covered as well.

I need an info from some one who had filed AC21 with an attorney. I want to apply my AC21 and asked my attorney to do so. But he is asking for $1500.00. Is this amount normal or I was asked for an abnormal amount. I thought its just informing USCIS by sending a letter only. But, is he charging me $1500 just to draft a letter?
I am looking for a constructive answer instead of vague assumptions / replies. It's an urgent issue for me to deal with.

I called the USCIS customer service and was given the receipt numbers for 485,EAD and AP.The application was put in the system on Sep 8th, Saturday. Checks havent been cashed yet.
Check my signature for the details. USCIS seems to be working overtime.

i came back from India last week and officer did not ask me for any documents. I had copies of 485, 140 and labour ceritification and my few pay receipts but he did not ask me for anything, just parole document and it was stamped and i was out in 5 minutes he did not take to me to any room to ask any questions.

You can start Greencard application in EB2 after receiving the MS degree in December 2006. H-1B and GC are two separate entities.

The minimum req for the job specified in LCA is BS+5 yrs+2 months.Salary is 80k/yr.Does this qualify me for EB2 also the ETA form has my qualification as my BE+MS .Also it specifies my past experience before joining the company. In my previous experience i was promoted and worked in a fortune 500 company .Will this qualify me for EB2. Also i heard that the category is determined in 140 stage.any help .thanks in advance.The occupation code also specifies that 65% or more in this job have bachelors and masters .Also it was mentioned it requires years of work experience for this job.Will this qualify for EB2. I think you need to show visa proof when you go to most of the DMVs.
But one of friend renewd his lic(PA DMV) without showing H1 or EAD. He renewed it online.
When I tried to renew my licence online it prompted me that my citizenship requires me to go to DMV local office personally.
Well, if your friend was able to get it renewed online, that mean, he must have got his first DL in PA long time ago and at that time, there was no flag that talked about immigration status like I-94. But at the later stage, DMV started attaching a restriction with H1B and other visa hoders to check the I-94 H1B status etc ...those ppl r still enjoying same setup and ppl like us are going through this whole excercise.

There is no limit on the amount of money that a person can bring in. However if a person is carrying $10 k (this includes cash, travellers check, bank draft etc) or >5k in cash then that has to be declared at customs and person should go through Red Channel.

I had also gone to local centre with info pass to buy some more time to reply MTR coz i didnt have enough evidence to prove A2P .they told me file within 30 days with what ever i have as tell them that u got notice on 28th day n buy more time .But advice was to file within 30 days .
